If making my dream become a reality was a person, it would be the queen Mary J! This MJB era is an entire vibe! From the wine down, to bussing heads in our favorite series POWER to the Power Packed Strength of Woman Festival not to mention forever inspiring us through her timeless music!
Which is probably the reasoning behind the movies dropping during Black Music Month. We get to see two of our favorite songs come to life on big screen this summer with two original movies, “Mary J. Blige’s Real Love” and “Mary J. Blige’s Strength of a Woman.” Set to premiere on back-to-back Saturdays, beginning June 10th.
The movies will be headlined by Ajiona Alexus and Da’Vinchi, with a cast including Princess Davis, Austin Anozie, Millan Tesfazgi, Shiraine Haas, Garfield Wilson, and Hamza Fouad.
The story of “Mary J. Blige’s Real Love” follows the journey of a young couple navigating the highs and lows of Black love. In “Mary J. Blige’s Strength of a Woman,” we jump ahead 15 years to find Kendra, now a successful photographer, struggling in a failing marriage.
The queen gives us nothing but inspiration so you know we’ll be tuned all the way in! Will you?
