Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has yet again defined Black Girl Magic with her new chart topping country single Texas Hold ‘Em! Coming off the heels of her highly anticipated album Renaissance Act II, Texas Hold ‘Em has taken charge of not only being #1 on R&B charts but on Billboards Hot Country Songs simultaneously.
Mrs. Knowles-Carter is no stranger to making history and topping charts with 8 Hot 100 hits over the span of her career, undoubtedly making her mark in the music industry while impressively collecting 32 Grammy awards over the course her career. Now, she is making her voice felt amongst the country genre becoming the first black woman to top the Country Music charts.
Billboard reports Texas Hold ‘Em accumulated a jaw dropping “19.2 million official streams and 4.8 million in all-format airplay audience and sold 39,000 in the US through February 15.”
Beyonce not only holds the #1 spot with Texas Hold ‘Em on country music charts, but also holds the #9 spot with her second country song entry 16 Carriages, which according to Billboard has already clocked 10.3 million streams, 90,000 in radio reach and 14,000 sold.”
