TikTok is a Chinese video social networking service. It is used worldwide to create short dance, lip-sync, comedy, and talent videos. Other than it raising concerns with national security in the US. Other countries grew concerns about other issues as well. In Egypt, Two social media personalities were convicted on charges of “violating family values.” They aren’t the only ones; more women are scheduled to stand trial on similar charges later on in the week. Last week two women were convicted, fined, and sentenced to two years imprisonment. The court also found three men guilty for assisting the women with posting the videos. Not only are they to serve two years of jail, but they will also receive a 19,000 fine. Some lawmakers in the country are demanding that the government suspend Tiktok, due to accusations of promoting nudity and immorality. Women who are facing prosecution for their TikTok posts were put in jail without bail.Haneen Hossam, a 20-year-old, and Mawada el-Adhamwho are 22, gained millions of followers for videos posted to TikTok and other social platforms. The videos consist of them dancing, singing, and having ratted G fun. During one of the trials, prosecutors slammed videos that she posted as “disgraceful and insulting.”
