When you stand for something you fall for nothing. These women came together to stand in the name of Justice for Breonna Taylor. We see the memes on social media, the things our people are doing in the community and still the officers that killed Breonna remain free.

Taylor, a 26-year-old African-American emergency medical technician, was fatally shot by Louisville Metro Police Department officers on March 13, 2020. Three plainclothes LMPD officers executing a no-knock search warrant entered her apartment in Louisville, Kentucky.

During a peaceful protest in Kentucky in front of Attorney General Daniel Cameron’s home American Activist Tamika Mallory, TV personality Yandy Smith, Porsha Williams of RHOA amongst more than 80 other protesters were arrested and charged with a felony and two misdemeanors.

The ACLU of Kentucky has said that the Louisville Metro Police Department’s use of a felony allegation against demonstrators was designed to muzzle the protests. Mallory took to Instagram to share that they have been released from jail and that her organization, Until Freedom will not leave the LMPD until all of the protestors have been released.

Be apart of the change you want to see by calling the Louisville Department of Corrections (502) 574-8477. Let’s continue to say her name until we see justice for Breonna Taylor prevail.
