Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill breakup rumors may have gone into overdrive last week after the duo announced via an interview with The Fader that they are not engaged despite months of speculation, however, with the duo seemingly throwing shade at one another on Instagram, further fueling rumors of an impending split, Minaj is putting fans’ worries to rest as she reiterates her love for beau Meek Mill via Instagram.
The Urban Daily reports that while neither Minaj nor Meek Mill have directly spoken out against the split rumors, Minaj posted a message to her personal Twitter account on Monday to seemingly end reports of a breakup for her and Mill.
Minaj tweeted, “Love my baby,” alongside a heart emoji, just as breakup rumors began to appear over the weekend. In addition, Minaj took to Instagram to continue to promote the upcoming portion of her The Pinkprint Tour, which features beau Meek Mill as a guest appearance.
Perhaps more interestingly, Minaj also shared a very glamorous Instagram shot of herself after a shopping trip in which she poses alongside a plethora of Chanel bags while lounging in the backseat of a luxury car, captioning the shot with lyrics from Mill’s new single, “Check.”
“F***in up a check check check check check check check,” she wrote alongside the photo.
The news comes only a few weeks after fans expressed their concern for Minaj and Meek Mill after the duo neglected to post a photo together for nearly a month, Mstars confirms. In addition, rumors began flying after Minaj and Mill sat for the rapper’s cover story interview with The Fader, in which he boldly spoke out against engagement rumors, telling reporters, “I ain’t engaged.”
Sources close to Minaj alleged that the “Anaconda” rapper was angry with her man for dispelling the rumors, revealing that Minaj wanted to go along with the reports to keep their romance in the headlines.
Minaj also fueled breakup rumors when she posted an Instagram photo of herself smiling and saluting the camera with the caption, “Thank God ya blew it!!! Thank God I dodged the bullet!!!!” alluding to the possibility that she and Mill have gone their separate ways.
However, more recent reports allege that the message may have been intended for Minaj’s longtime ex, Safaree Samuels, who was spotted tagging Minaj’s good friend, Rihanna, in a photo of himself.
