Jazmine Sullivan and Bryson Tiller have linked up on a new single “Insecure”, for Issa Rae’s HBO series “Insecure. The single is expected to be featured on the third episode of season 2 which is set to air this weekend. The track features the two going back and forth with each other as Jazmine accuses Bryson of being insecure and Bryson giving his reasons why. The single samples Pleasure P’s “Rock Bottom while Jazmine ask the question”Why you gotta be so insecure”.
Jazmine has been quiet since 2015, so to hear those powerful vocals is refreshing. Bryson recently released his sophomore album True to Self ,his much-anticipated LP. Bryson is kicking off his tour tonight in in Atlanta with H.E.R and Metro Boomin.
Jazmine and Bryson are not the only two that are making appearances on the Insecure soundtrack. The season 2 soundtrack has a 23 song playlist. It was Issa’s goal to mix modern-day music with the modern-day feel of the show. Miguel is also featured on this season of the popular HBO show.
