Outside of amazing weather and beautiful beaches, Miami is also known for its unique fashions. Despite popular belief, there are some dope up and coming designers here in the city. Unfortunately, they aren’t always brought to the forefront. Sunday, June 3rd, Chix Elite put an end to that. Music andfFashion collided at Runway 305 a fashion Show and networking event. If you aren’t aware this is actually the 2nd Runway305 event and each time the event gets better and brings out designers from swimwear to urban. No matter what your style may be, there’s something for everyone.
The event was held at The Arc located at 675 Alibaba Avenue. The artsy warehouse was the perfect spot to hold the event. The beautiful butterfly wall was a hit as everyone posed excitedly for pictures. What’s a fashion show without a host? In this case there were two; Suave_111 & Drecka_Mia, who is also the host of the podcast Big Talk w/ Drecka. DJ Haitian Mike kept the crowd hype and gave the models something to strut to. This also served as a networking event so there vendors that provided everything from clothing and jewelry to sweet treats. The drinks were flowing and the hookahs were blowing.
