Facial_Cleansers_Every_Skin_TypeMany individuals suffer from oily skin. Oily skin can be a blessing and a curse. Having oily skin can slowdown the ageing process but it can also clog your pores leaving you with embarrassing breakouts. Oily skin can be caused by a number of things such as weather, stress, or your diet. It can even be hereditary. Fortunately there are some tips that may reduce the issue or even solve it.

  • Diet

Your diet has a lot to do with the amount of sebum your body produces. Eating a lot of oily and processed food can contribute to break outs.

Drinking a lot of water and staying away from sugary drinks such as soda and juices may cause a change in your skin.

Fun try:

You can test this theory by trying the “Seven day challenge” (https://prettyhustlaz.com/seven-day-challenge-is-it-worth-it/) for 4 days and see if there is a significant change in the appearance of oil in your skin.

Habits: Many habits you may do can contribute to oily skin.

  • Stop touching your face!

We touch a lot of things on a day to day bases. Think about how many things you have touched since you last washed your hands. We touch door knobs, pens, shoe laces, car doors, we come in contact with millions of germs on a daily and touch our face.

Fun try: carry hand sanitizer. Wash your hands before you touch your face even if it’s just to tent to an itch.

Tip: Carry hand sanitizer with you always.

  • When was the last time you wiped off your phone?

Cell phones carry allot of bacteria due to the many surfaces it may lay on.

Tip: at the end of the day by using a disinfectant wipe to wipe of your phone.

  • Avoid harsh face cleansers

Cleansers that tend to dry out the skin may have a negative effect. Stripping the skin of its natural oil will double the amount of sebum your skin will produce.

Tip: cleans face with tea tree oil before bed

Tip: try organic DIY facial mask
