It appears things are looking up these days for R&B superstar Trey Songz. It’s been over a year since Trigga blessed us with his 7th studio album, Tremaine The Album. Now, after countless features and some minor legal trouble, Trey returns with not only new music, but news of hitting the big screen as well.
It looks like that screening/meeting back in January went well with Lionsgate, and the green light was given for Trey’s upcoming film, Blood Brother.
The film takes place on the mean streets of a city in decay, where a recently released convict begins to take murderous revenge against his childhood friends, whom he believes let him take the fall for a crime they collectively committed. As the bodies start piling up, one of the friends, now a cop (Trey Songz), will stop at nothing to put an end to the murderous rampage and to right the many wrongs of their tragically violent past. Sounds like a good one indeed. Alongside, Trey you will find rapper Fetty Wop, WWE star, R-Truth, Tanae McCall, Jack Kesy and many others.
