On May 31, Kanye hosted his album release party in the usual untraditional Kanye style… In Jackson Hole, Wyoming. After a series of Twitter rants, West released his highly anticipated album “Ye”.
Kim revealed via social media that Kanye shot the album cover on his iPhone on the way to the listening party. The party was attended by a small group of celebrities as well as media representatives who live streamed the event on various social media networks.
Kanye flew his selected guest to the Diamond Cross Ranch. A lot of the guest flew from JFK to Jackson Hole in a 68 seater private jet. Teyana Taylor, Kid Cudi, Bridget Kelly, 2 Chains, Fabulous, Nas and Ty Dolls sign were some of the celebs spotted at the event. DJ’s and radio heavy hitters were also in attendance, and surprisingly some of the locals walked the halls in their cowboy gear.
The crowd assembled around a bonfire to surrounded by large speakers to get the first listen of “Ye”. The album was ran through twice. The album only has 7 tracks and includes songs with Nicki Minaj, Jeremiah and more.
Kim was by her husband side, fresh off meeting with President Trump. Kim who has always been very supportive of her family, attended the event dressed in Ye merchandise. Which is now available on Kanye’s website.
According to media outlets that were present, Kanye seemed happy as he rapped along to his album and was even seen smiling often.
After his recent Twitter rant and support for Donald Trump, it will be interesting to see how his album sales are.
